A blue volcano

On Monday morning we did a writing experiment in the sandpit. We use baking soda, vinegar and blue food colouring to make the explosion. Look at our video and photos. We started our stories today - they sound fantastic!

Assembly group performance

Rikiau, Molly, Merika, Charlotte and Alex were really brave and got up infront of the whole school and performed Baa Baa Black Sheep. They did a great job! Room 5 are very proud of you. Keep an eye out for the video I will upload in the next few days. 

Yellow Day

Look at our cool yellow outfits for mufti day. Thank you to everyone who sent a coin along to school. The PTA Quizco raised over $300! Remember to enter your team so you can be part of an entertaining evening. 

Cross Country

We have worked so hard since the start of the term to get fit and achieve our goals in the Cross Country. We all did an amazing job yesterday and tried our hardest!! Miss Ovens was very proud of everyone in Room 5!

Jack Flash and the bean stalk

On Monday we had the crew from PlayHouse Productions come and do an educational show for us. We recognised some of our favourite nursery rhymes in the show. It was good to remember all about recycling and looking after the environment.
